About Me
Storytelling runs in my blood. My paternal grandfather was a typesetter at an Italian-language newspaper. My dad was a PR executive who subscribed to four newspapers and took me to the library every week. I was born to tell stories, and here’s why you should hire me to craft yours.
I’ve won 14 (and counting) journalism awards during my career, primarily as a business reporter and editor. Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and workplace issues have been mainstays of my coverage; however, I can deliver engaging, well-researched, and polished pieces on any subject for any platform. I’ve written about everything from how the collapse of the real estate industry triggered the Great Recession to why Hungarian paprika reigns supreme. Part of my success stems from my talent for translating complex topics into easily understood prose and bringing data to life by finding the people and situations behind the numbers. I’ve worked at The Associated Press, Crain’s New York Business, and the Society of Human Resource Management. I also spent six years as a Budapest-based freelancer chronicling how the collapse of communism reshaped Eastern Europe and the Balkans. My stories have appeared in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Pensions & Investments, Metropolis, and The Chronicle of Higher Education. I’ve also authored several white papers, though clients insist they be kept private.
I don’t just write-I build. I launched a daily real estate newsletter for Crain’s and a weekly workplace newsletter for the Society for Human Resource Management. Both remain must-reads in their respective industries. I’ve also spearheaded special editorial features, organized conferences, and moderated panels.
If you’re seeking a skilled communicator who can compose materials that inform and inspire, I’d love to connect. Please take a look at my resume or reach out to discuss how I can help tell your story.
